J. Walker Transportation Supports Illuminate Production for Second Consecutive Orange Bowl Halftime Show

Stockton, Missouri — J. Walker Transportation is proud to announce that it once again supported Illuminate Production Services by providing transportation for the production equipment used in the 2026 Orange Bowl Halftime Show.

This marked the second consecutive year that Illuminate Production Services trusted J. Walker Transportation with the transportation of critical lighting and production gear used for the nationally recognized Orange Bowl halftime production.

The transportation project was completed in October 2025, when J. Walker Transportation picked up the production equipment in Lincoln, California, and transported it across the country to Illuminate Production Services’ Florida warehouse in Fort Pierce.

The cross-country transfer covered approximately 2,950 miles and required roughly 43 hours of driving time, not including federally required rest periods, fuel stops, inspections, traffic delays, and other operational stops. The long-distance move required careful planning, dependable communication, and precise execution to ensure the equipment arrived safely and remained on schedule for the upcoming production.

“Transporting production equipment across the country requires more than simply putting a trailer on the road,” said Jonathan Petrie of J. Walker Transportation. “These projects involve strict schedules, valuable equipment, constant communication, and very little room for error. We are proud that Illuminate Production Services trusted our team for a second consecutive year to transport the gear used for the Orange Bowl Halftime Show.”

Live-event transportation presents unique logistical challenges because every piece of equipment must arrive at the correct destination safely, securely, and within the production schedule. A delayed shipment can affect rehearsals, installation, testing, and the overall execution of the event.

J. Walker Transportation worked closely with Illuminate Production Services throughout the transfer to provide reliable, time-sensitive transportation from California to Florida. The successful delivery demonstrated the company’s ability to manage demanding, long-distance production moves while maintaining the communication and flexibility required by the live-event industry.

The 2026 Orange Bowl project represents another milestone in the growing relationship between J. Walker Transportation and Illuminate Production Services. J. Walker Transportation has continued to support Illuminate on major entertainment, sporting, and special-event productions throughout the United States.

“We value the confidence Illuminate continues to place in our company,” Petrie added. “Being selected for a second year shows that our team delivered the level of service, reliability, and professionalism these productions demand.”

J. Walker Transportation looks forward to continuing its partnership with Illuminate Production Services and supporting future live entertainment, sporting, and large-scale special events across the country.
