“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Just as a seed must be planted, watered, and nurtured to grow, so must our faith and character develop through life’s experiences. Our journey with God is a continuous process of growth, often filled with challenges and changes. But through every season, God’s hand is at work, shaping and refining us.
Consider how far you’ve come in your spiritual journey. Reflect on the moments where God’s presence was evident in your life — those times when you felt His guidance, comfort, or even correction. Just like a driver who checks their vehicle before a long haul, take a moment to evaluate your growth. What lessons have you learned? How have your experiences shaped you into who you are today? In the hustle of our daily routines, it’s easy to miss the subtle ways God is working in us. Sometimes growth is slow and steady, much like driving on a long, winding road. Other times, it’s rapid, akin to navigating a bustling highway. Regardless of the speed or ease of the journey, each step is crucial in molding us into the individuals God intends us to be.
Even in the smallest moments, God is crafting a masterpiece of growth within you, turning every challenge into a step toward your divine purpose.
Heavenly Father, thank You for being with me on this journey of growth. Help me to see Your hand in all circumstances, especially when the road is tough. Teach me to trust Your timing and to embrace the process of becoming more like You. May I always recognize that every step, every challenge, and every blessing is a part of Your divine plan for my life. Amen.
