J. Walker Transportation Supports Oregon FFA Convention for Third Consecutive Year March 23, 2026 8:00 am Stockton, Missouri — J. Walker Transportation is proud to announce its continued partnership with Illuminate Production Services in support of Oregon’s FFA convention in Redmond, Oregon. This marked the third consecutive year that J. Walker Transportation worked alongside Illuminate Production Services to provide both transportation and labor support for the event.   The project began in Lincoln, California, where the J. Walker Transportation team loaded the first of two semi-trailers with production equipment and event gear. The first trailer was then transported to the Redmond, Oregon, fairgrounds and delivered for the event.   After completing the first delivery, the team returned to Lincoln to load and retrieve the second semi-trailer. J. Walker Transportation then made the trip back to Redmond to deliver the remaining production equipment needed for the convention. In total, the project required two separate trailer movements between Lincoln and Redmond, along with careful coordination, secure loading, dependable transportation, and close communication with the Illuminate Production Services team.   In addition to transporting both trailers, J. Walker Transportation personnel also provided labor support for the event. The company’s team assisted with the physical demands of the production process and helped ensure the equipment was available and ready within the event’s required schedule.   “Making two separate trips from Lincoln to Redmond required careful planning and a strong commitment from everyone involved,” said Jonathan Petrie of J. This marked the second consecutive year that Illuminate Production Services trusted J. Walker Transportation with the transportation of critical lighting and production gear used for the nationally recognized Orange Bowl halftime production.   The transportation project was completed in October 2025, when J. Walker Transportation picked up the production equipment in Lincoln, California, and transported it across the country to Illuminate Production Services’ Florida warehouse in Fort Pierce. The cross-country transfer covered approximately 2,950 miles and required roughly 43 hours of driving time, not including federally required rest periods, fuel stops, inspections, traffic delays, and other operational stops. The long-distance move required careful planning, dependable communication, and precise execution to ensure the equipment arrived safely and remained on schedule for the upcoming production.   “Transporting production equipment across the country requires more than simply putting a trailer on the road,” said Jonathan Petrie of J. Walker Transportation once again partnered with Illuminate Production Services to provide transportation and event labor for the 2026 New Year’s Eve celebration at Seattle’s iconic Space Needle. This marked the third consecutive year J. Walker Transportation supported Illuminate Production Services with the annual celebration, following successful projects welcoming 2024, 2025, and now 2026. The project began in Roseville, California, where the J. Walker Transportation team assisted with the load-out following Christmas Eve services at Destiny Christian Church. After the equipment was loaded, the team traveled directly from Roseville to Seattle, Washington, to ensure the production equipment arrived in time for load-in, which began on December 27, 2025. In addition to transporting critical lighting and production equipment, J. Walker Transportation personnel provided on-site labor to assist Illuminate Production Services with the installation, preparation, and execution of the New Year’s Eve production at the Space Needle.   “Supporting a production of this size requires much more than simply moving freight,” said Jonathan Petrie of J.
